Walking in my sleep
In the middle of the night
By the rivers so deep
Passed this vast valley of fear
Seeking for something once clear
*
Walking in the stream
In the middle of the night
Through desserts of truth
Looking for that only seen
By way of eyes of the blind
**
Searching in this vast
River of dreams we’re drifting
To find the clear seas.

Written for this weeks Haiku challenge. Words: Vast & Clear.
The last verse makes up the haiku, while the first two verses are in the Tanka form
For this challenge I looked for inspiration in music. Do you recognize the song?
your poem has a beautiful flow–and the last 3 lines are great as a wrap-up or stand alone.
