“Motivation is like food for the brain. You cannot get enough in one sitting. It needs continual and regular top ups.” Peter Davies
What do you spend your time reading? Watching on TV?
Kim’s latest “reality” series? That dude with the fake hairs’ latest #@*! Remark? Gulp; or even the news?
The old saying: “Junk in, Junk out” holds true. What we feed our mind has a huge impact on our daily wellness. Perhaps you have stopped taking notice. Take a minute and observe your own mood. What happens when you read some non-sense on FaceBook? What happens when you switch on the news and hear about another terrible thing? Have you ever detected that they never have any good news to report? While I don’t want to discredit the importance of the news; it is vitally important to note the impact all this negativity has on our mind and wellbeing.
These things have a way to make us feel drained, listless, disconnected and ultimately depressed. There is just so much the human mind can take before it shuts off. Unfortunately, unless you live under a rock many of these negative stimulants are unavoidable. So what’s a girl to do?
Kim’s latest fashion trend isn’t uplifting and will do nothing for you.
“You ‘spend’ time, so make sure it’s worth it” – Joyce Meyer
No, this is not the right time to solve the world’s problems with chocolate.
The solution lies in inspiration. Put inspiration in your mind to combat all that negativity. Read an inspirational book. Watch an inspirational movie. Try to find a channel, which will tell you some good news for the day. Make sure you follow social media accounts, which balance out all that B.S. with something good. Hint, check out my FaceBook page for a good example. Do your friends a favor and share the inspirational things you see on-line.
Inspiration is all around us. One only needs to be able to take notice. Feel the rain on your skin. Watch the leafs dance in the wind. Feel joy in others spontaneous giggling.
Seriously, Darling, we need to put positive things into our head if we are to survive this place. I like reading something positive in the form of a book, each day. You could say I desperately need this. While reading I don’t check my phone or notifications. Even if it’s only one chapter per day, I focus on the positive thing I’m reading.
I do my utmost best to share something inspirational on a regular basis. Don’t you think that is reason enough to give me a follow on your favorite Social Media hangout?

Thanks. Yea, I’m busy reading one Joyce’s Books “in Pursuit of Peace”. I’ve found quite a few nice things to quote from there. 🙂

I don’t know. The big hair guy is certainly inspiring a lot of crappy behavior – but
I also like to think he’s inspiring people to NOT be like him.

Fear as a political motivator is not a good thing for society as a large. I don’t really talk about the American politics on my blog much, cause not American. But yea, we do see what’s happening in the news over there. And yea you are totally right. Lot’s of people are inspired not to be like him. “Make America kind again” campaign jumps to mind. 🙂 Thanks for reading.
